We would like to inform you the result of the 28th Irino Prize ,2007.
The Selection Committee has been held on July 23, 2007 at the JML Seminar Yoshiro Irino Institute of Music Tokyo.

Jury of this year :

Total of Entries : 129 Compositions (4 was disqualified), 32 Countries
Award : Total 300,000 Japanese yen (this year the special case)

<Information>
Winner's composition of the 29th for Chamber-Orchestral work ,2009 will be performed by the TOKYO SINFONIETTA.(Mr.Yasuaki Itakura cond.)

“The Irino Prize Chamber Music Concert” in Tokyo in 2010 is planning to organize for the winner’s
compositions of the 22nd to the 30th and one winner’s composition from the Gaudeamus Foundation
as a guest composition.

The 26th (2005)winners composition “ink, colors and gold on paper” by Mr. Peter Gahn will be performed
in the Gaudeamus Music Week on September,2007 at 12;30.
